With all the news about the wildfires around Oregon this past couple of weeks, I thought it would be good to address ways we can protect our home and family against becoming a victim of loss through wildfires. In a worst-case scenario, we should also also address how to prepare for the possibility of a wildfire threatening our home and family.
Planning ahead is the best way to do this. Preparing our homes and yards ahead of time gives us the most protection against our property being at risk. Properly training ourselves and our families on what to do if the need to evacuate occurs, we can greatly reduce the risk of any loss of property or life.
