There are many ways to enjoy the warm nights and longer days. One of the ways to add some fun, peaceful rest to your life is by hanging out in your own backyard around a fire pit. As a family, you can roast hot dogs or make s'mores and create scarey ghost stories by the firelight. As a couple, you can put your feet up with a glass of wine and snuggle by the fire, spending some quality time together. There are so many different types and styles of fire pits, from very simple and inexpensive to very elaborate and ornate. I've attached a couple of sites with ideas for some of the many fire pit DIY projects available. Most can be completed in either a couple of hours, or on a free weekend. Don't forget to check in on your local fire season regulations.
